Method before marketing
Soft washing is a method choice, not a promise that every stain disappears.
Routine exterior dirt and organic buildup can often be treated with controlled cleaning solution and low-pressure rinsing. Permanent oxidation, rust, tannin bleed, etching, failed coatings, deeply bonded staining and pre-existing damage are different conditions and should not be promised away by routine washing.

Scope clarity
The house wash has boundaries.
A premium service should be specific about what is included instead of allowing “full exterior” to turn into unlimited detail work.
Trim / architectural details
Soffits, fascia, trim and other serviceable details can be included when they are part of the quoted scope.
Plant & property protection
Surrounding landscaping and sensitive areas are considered before and during chemical application and rinsing.
Exterior gutter / downspout surfaces
Detailed gutter-face or downspout washing is not automatically included in the house wash. Those surfaces may receive incidental spray or rinse, but dedicated cleaning should be quoted separately.
Windows & screens
Detailed exterior window cleaning and screen washing are separate services unless specifically added.
Repairs / restoration
Scraping, sanding, caulking, patching, coating repair, specialty restoration and other repair work are outside routine house washing unless separately scoped.

Apply the cleaning solution
A surface-appropriate solution is applied at controlled pressure to loosen routine exterior soil and organic buildup.

Address the agreed details
Safely accessible trim or stubborn organic buildup can receive additional attention when included in scope.
05 · RINSE
Rinse thoroughly
Treated surfaces are rinsed from top to bottom with a method appropriate for the material.
06 · VERIFY
Inspect and clean up
The work area is checked, cleaned up and the finished exterior can be documented when project media is available.

Vancouver homes do not share one exterior.
Vinyl, fibre cement, stucco, cedar, shade, tree exposure, organic buildup, access and adjacent property all matter when choosing a safe, useful plan.
Conditions that deserve review
Unsafe access, suspected hazardous materials, wastewater constraints, concealed defects, electrical hazards, failed coatings and materially different surfaces should be reviewed before commitment.

Useful answers before you request.
Is soft washing the same as pressure washing?
No. Soft washing relies on controlled cleaning chemistry and low pressure for surfaces where aggressive pressure would be inappropriate.
Are exterior gutter faces included automatically?
No. Detailed exterior gutter and downspout washing is treated separately unless specifically quoted. Incidental spray or rinsing does not create a promise of detailed gutter cleaning.
Will it remove oxidation or permanent staining?
Not necessarily. Oxidation, etching, failed coatings, rust, tannin bleed and deeply bonded staining are different from routine organic buildup and may require separate assessment.
Do you clean windows as part of the house wash?
A rinse may contact adjacent glass, but detailed exterior window cleaning is a separate service unless added to the scope.
What if the exterior material is unusual?
Start the request and choose review if needed. The cleaning method should be confirmed against the actual material rather than assuming every exterior can be treated the same way.
